Q: What is a proper way of punishing oneself, on the account of not following the Sunnah and behaving un-Islamically? I’ve been talking to boy for years and I can’t stop. We have never met, we keep trying to stop and keep doing it again, both of us are Muslim.
A: By continuously sinning you are already punishing yourself. Why not just stop the nonsense and try repentance to relieve yourself of this burden. Fear Allah and have a little self control.
