Q: Do I have to take my braids out to perform ghusl?

A: You must unbraid your hair to perform ghusl at the end of your menstrual cycle/period of postpartum bleeding. Braids do not have to be removed to perform ghusl due to sexual impurity so long as water reaches the roots.
